Carey Mulligan has returned to Broadway in David Hare’s Skylight, starring opposite Bill Nighy. The Oscar nominee visited The Today Show on March 19 to confess that while she may already have a prolific screen and London stage career, the Great White Way is where it’s at: “My dream when I was little was doing a play on Broadway. That was my idea of what being an actress was.” Now she’s doing that eight times a week at the Golden Theatre, where the Stephen Daldry-helmed production will open officially on April 2. Check out the interview below, in which Mulligan also discusses the satisfaction of having a Hare-penned argument.
